Soul Eater is a guide for followers of shounen action anime. Although the story is together consistent and concluded, the immoderate makeweight and the joint shounen oddities merely doesn’t make the experience rewarding for most temporary watchers.

Maka is a weapon meister, decided to turn her partner, a living scythe named Soul Eater, into a dominant death scythe — the furthest weapon of Death himself! Demanded with the task of gathering and absorbing the corrupted souls of ninety-nine humans and one witch, Maka and her fellow meisters attempt to master their weapons as they face off opposingly the strange and risky followers of the underworld. However, the meisters’ own personal oddities may prove a bigger obstruction than any humid temptress!

Soul Eater Soul Evans Trivia

Soul's headband has a rectangular sticker with the word 'soul' and a circular sticker with a mouth and the letters E-A-T on it. This references his name, 'Soul Eater.' His headband looks a little different in the very first chapters of the manga.

His last name pays tribute to the famous American jazz pianist Bill Evans.

In Chapter 69, it appers that the round sticker with the 'E-A-T' letters that was on Soul's sweatband is now stuck to his locker.

In the official popularity poll taken by the manga's readers, Soul ranked 4th.

Part of his design may have come from Emine in Ohkubo's previous manga, B. Ichi. Both characters have white hair and red eyes and wear shoes with teeth marks on their soles.

Soul's theme song is, 'So Scandalous.' He also has a character song with Maka: 'Mauve Iro no Sympathy.'

Soul Eater Soul Evans Death Scythe Abilities

Form Manipulation: This allows Soul and Maka to change the appearance of Soul's Weapon form. To what extent is not yet known but they have been seen to manipulate the length of the scythe blade in Soul's Weapon form.

Flight: Through Soul Resonance with Maka's Grigori Soul, Soul can manifest wings in his Weapon form, allowing him and Maka to fly. The two debate over what sort of wings they want, and thus it takes a little time for them to achieve this ability. At first, Soul makes sharp spiky wings, which, although achieving momentary flight, is rejected by Maka due to their unattractive appearances. After yielding to Maka's wish for more 'fluffy' angel-like wings, Soul's wings take on the form of a tiny pair of feathery wings, which achieves flight, but with incredibly low speed. After settling their argument, Soul creates a pair of large strong feathery wings which allows them great speed and versatility in the air.
