Gintama: Kondo Isao

The goofy commander of the Shinsengumi, Kondo Isao takes his job seriously and will not hesitate to sacrifice his life in order to protect his people. All of the members of the Shinsengumi are fiercely loyal to him, seeing as they revere him for being the one to give them back their swords after the Sword Prohibition Act. Sogo Okita often remarks that their commander’s nice attitude is also his weak point because he never notices negative points about other people.

I got this Cute Kagura Cosplay Photo by Midori Kanda from Cosplay.Lightchan.com, this is was amazing Kagura Cosplay photo, Kagura is the Kunoichi (female ninja) and also a female protagonist of Gintama Anime, Kagura is is a member of theYorozuya (Yorozuya is an outfit doing errands or odd-jobs for a fee) and comes from the Yato Tribe, yato species are averse tosunlight, which is why Kagura always carry an umbrella wherever she went, to protect her from sunlight, Kagura appearance did not look strong although it turns out she was very strong, and often lose control on her power when her friend in great danger, she most likes to eat and Seems to have an insatiable appetite, with a particular fondness for rice and sukonbu ^^", the most she wanted was to be an normal girl.

Gintama: Sakata Gintoki 02

Vice-commander of the Shinsengumi, Hijikata Toshiro has romantic feelings for Okita Sogo’s sister Mitsuba. Prior to joining the government, he rejected Mitsuba believing he will not be able to provide happiness for her. Sogo does not like Toshiro very much, and continually tries to wound, embarrass, or even kill Toshiro in order to take his rank as vice-commander. His annoyance towards Toshiro is mainly due to his popularity, as even the commander, Kondo Isao, thinks highly of his vice-commander.

Gintama: Takasugi Shinsuke

One of the main antagonists of the series, Shinsuke was a former comrade of Sakata Gintoki's and Katsura Kotaru's during the Amanto invasion. He gained a fearsome reputation for assassinating many of the Bakufu's main officers. He was also planning a large-scale coup d'état, but vanished after the war ended. Now, he leads Kiheitai, a radical Joi faction and is in the Shinsengumi's list of worst criminals.

Very convincing cosplay! Although the photo is a little dark, we can still see his signature colorful kimono. I love that creepy look he's giving the audience. Thanks to Vento for emailing this!

The son and daughter of the violent Yato clan, Kamui and Kagura chose different paths in order to escape their heritage as to be expected of them for being the infamous alien hunter, Umibouzu's offsprings. Kamui becomes the leader of the space pirates Harusame's 7th squad, while Kagura works with Gintoki in Yorozuya doing odd jobs to make the world a better place (and pay their rent).

Aren't they adorable? This picture is making me hungry for sweets. I love how their wigs have the same shade of color. Great work!

An aristocrat who was brought up as a male in order to succeed her family’s clan, Yagyu Kyubei dresses and acts like a boy but she has not forgotten her feminine self. Because of her upbringing, she was in love with Shimura Tae ("Otae" to most) when they were children. The lost of her left eye was actually a result of Kyubei trying to protect Tae.

The incident made Kyubei decide to become stronger. She is now a master of the Yagyu-Ryu sword technique and her strength is just below her grandfather’s.
